Default is this a norwood 3 or 2?

The left picture is most recent, the right from last year. I think my temples have receded further. Would I yet be considered a norwood 3? I'm 24 years old but researching hair transplants for a few years down the road.

    Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

Going to go with a Norwood two. You might want to consider Finasteride and Minoxidil. A hair transplant will only even out your hair density. The DHT sensitive follicles are still going to fall out.

Also, you are young enough to get benefits.

Hey thanks for the reply. I've been using minoxidil since last year but still am too fearful of side effects to try finasteride. I'm hoping a surgery in 8 years or so to lower my hairline a bit wouldn't be a terrible idea. My father has a similar wide high hairline and always has. Soon hell be 50 and barely a nw3. I hope my rate of recession never exceeds that but who knows.

Just to clarify, what do you mean by qualify for benefits?

It's much easier to regrow hair when it has just fallen out. I use Minoxidil as well. But eventually DHT will take over. It will only slow baldness down.

I was afraid of Finasteride in my twenties as well. But some people see great benefits when they microdose. Finasteride has more permanent/lasting benefits. And guys in their twenties can see up to sixty percent regrowth.
