Red spot on hairline

Hi

After 15 months, there was an area on the side of hairline, raised and rough and it feel there something under the skin which sometime become bigger or lower

Recently, i tried to massage the area and, then i felt something moved or cracked and then the whole spot become red like blood under the skin and then become so painful, no bleeding on the suface only under skin

And the whole area inflammed now

I tried to put steriod cream but the redness still there for 3 days

Probably see a dermatologist, to put your mind at ease.

However, it could be an ingrown hair. Sometimes that happens. There are many things it might be.

But why guess? Find out from an expert.
