Is ethanol safe to put on scalp ? does minox contain ethanol ? I am curious if there are any studies on ethanol effect on hair (topical) I know it is a penetration enchancer but is it safe or not for hair ?

Every anti hair loss treatment almost always contain ethanol. I think the important is the %. It make the skin and scalp very dry

Minoxidil contains glycerol, in liquid form. Some people are allergic.

Also, if you don't want dandruff, use foam.

There's so many brands. It depends. Some liquid Minoxidil versions have 60%. Some have forty percent.

It's not good for the scalp in the sense there is a very high probability of
dandruff. It dries it up. Doesn't really matter what ethnicity a person is.

This is a good question because what many people don't know is even
shampoo will temporarily thin hair strands. But conditioners do not.
