I've had enough of life as a balding man. Unfortunately no one has any choice in life, life chooses them. I hate mine and I am now going to get rid of it piece by piece.

I hate the bald prejudice at work, so I'm going to quit my job. I hate the bald prejudice in my line of work, so I'm not going to look for another one. There's no point having a career when you are not allowed to be a success because of things outside of your control, so f*ck it.

I'm going to make break all remaining ties with my family. I hate my parents for having children and for cracking bald jokes and I hate my brothers for escaping the bald gene.

I'm going to blank all my friends. I hate leaving the house these days anyway. Socialising is pointless when you're the ugly spare wheel in a group.

I am going to learn how to punch hard, so that every person regardless of age or gender will be taught a lesson if they make light of my condition. No teeth is almost as bad as no hair. I couldn't care less about the consequences.

I'm going to stop studying. There's no point wasting hours on dull examinations when you can't get promoted at work because you're bald and some hairy brainless f*ckwit is considered more suitable.

I'm not waiting around anymore, for year after year, a dead man walking. I'm not living this foreign life on behalf of this foreign being. Another eight years of this? No f*cking way.

I never celebrated my 21st birthday; never went to my graduation ceremony (who'd want a picture of themselves receiving their degree with a massive bald spot?) and never pursued the career I wanted, all because of baldness. It's ruined my life and it was never possible to do anything about it. I'm not waiting until I become one of those foul looking skin heads just so that society can keep pretending baldness is nothing serious. I'm not playing by society's stupid rules.

Tomorrow I'm getting on a plane to go god knows where. I'm going to live on a high fat, low vitimin diet. If that doesn't work, I'll go to Switzerland or Oregon. I'm going to be dead within a year and a lot happier for it.

One thing that I have learned from Spencer Kobren, this forum and his show is that there is hope and life after hair loss. Take your Propecia, save up for hair transplant and spend this time focusing on improving your life instead of throwing in the towel. Look at this video posted by Jotronic today.

You seriously need to get a HT. Get one together with PRP treatment from one of the certified doctors on here...seriously. It looks like it will change your life. by the time you bald more, if you do. There will probably be something better, if not...just keep getting PRP 1-2 a year to help the thinning hairs etc.

I agree!! I am 32 and have been losing my hair since I was 18!!! I shouldn't really complain but I pull off the bald look but for some reason it still bothers me. My wife wouldn't have me any other way but F it. I still want my hair back.

Your telling me with all the medical advance they can't find a real solution in the form of a pill.
Propecia...I tried it. I wish I would have stuck with it!! It was a little too expensive when I was a young guy in college. But really...if there was a pill to take today that would really reverse balding but you had to take it everyday for the rest of my life I totally would!!
You would think a pharmeceutical company would be working on that. They would need no other medication. They would be the richest company out there!!!

There is a lot people can do and many balding people live very full lives. Plugs do suck, but the good doctors don’t do plugs.

I agree with pretty much everything the thread starter said.

Your situation is very similar to my own. My hair thinning very gradually for a few years but has accelerated greatly since last Summer. I am very thin all over and, to be frank, this is destroying my life.

I have not been across the doors, other than work, in almost a year. I sleep as much as possible and am insanely miserable all the time. My parents were actually initially quite understanding but have since grown tired of my moods and now it is not mentioned anymore (they once threatened to have me sent to a mental institute).

Unfortunately my job entails me to stand up in front of 30 kids 5 times a day (teacher) and I am so self concious of my hair loss I absolutely dread each day. Everything is becoming harder and harder (funnily enough this is on a direct ratio to the severity of my hair loss)

I am not the same person I was and I know i never will be. I have no kids or wife etc and my awful appearence, coupled with zero self confidence, means I probably never will have.

If I had the balls I would end this shambles right here tonight.

I get where you guys are coming from... ****ing sucks to thin and go bald. It definitely looks so much worse than it would otherwise. But really. It is far, far from the end of life. Life is really good. Don't let hair destroy everything.


I doubt you guys have exhausted all options.

I have just started my battle...I only have rogaine 2% at the moment but...it's something. Soon will get on finasteride and try to get 5% minox...

I will try to battle this crap... hope I win.


Seems you guys are losing the battle. Just hang in there and try the pills and rogaine for a few more years untill histogen cures us all of this disfiguring disease


DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE OR LET THIS RUIN YOUR FUTURE! DONT. When histogen comes out and we all have decent hair again...dont regret not staying strong now and making the best of everything.
