Can somebody walk me through the timeline of hair transplant growth

I have 1,500 FUE grafts scheduled for April 2017. I am having the corners of my hairline and frontal tuft filled on so not too much grafts being place in areas with hair. Just looking to fill in the corners a bit (hairline is not being lowered, meaning that the doctor is building around the lowest part my hair reaches, not any further).

I am wondering if somebody with experience could let me know what to expect. I am interested in healing time, rough periods, and when you can start looking normal again.

I had around 1500 in the same spots as you about a month ago. I was able to go out in public the same day as the redness was not very noticeable (my hair was not cut short so I could "comb over."). Applying ice and triple antibiotic ointment was all I needed to do for 3 days after that. One night of minor pain, maybe a bit of tenderness for a week but nothing bad at all. After a week, the scabs started to fall off. Now, a month later, it's all totally unnoticeable. I'm waiting for the hairs to begin growing, which I am told takes 4 months.
