RU- would anyone recommend
Can't take propecia and minoxidil while it has helped is making my fave swell a little and I know long term it won't save my hair .
So thinking about trying RU and was hoping someone had experience with dose size and how effective it is. Propecia gave me terrible anxiety and while I plan to give it one more shot I'm not ready to dive in again yet.

There are many threads on this site that talk about RU. Bottom line it is unproven, both for hair loss and the long term side effects. Anecdotal results have shown it is probably safe, and has some regrowth or maintenance qualities.
I have been using it for 6 months because I cannot tolerate the side affects of a DHT inhibitor like Finasteride or Dutasteride. My only choice is blocking DHT at the topical level so RU and Breezula (when it's released) are my only options.

Thanks. I'm in the same situation. What concerns me the most is that you don't see hardly any people on RU for even a couple years. Most are on it for 6 months or so and go off. Even the ones who say it worked.

There have been people on other sites using it for a long time like eldu, irish pride, hellhouser on here.

Well hell houser is perfect example of not using it long term. According to his thread he went off of it after he said it was working. Not exactly and endorsement
