This 50 year old gentleman came to me wanting to improve the appearance of his hair. His hair loss pattern was similar to a class 4v. His goal was to keep a conservative hairline to fit his age now and one that would look good as he continued to age. In addition he wanted to increase the density in the crown. In the frontal zone he wanted to add more density into the frontal 1/3 of his scalp without really lowering his hairline much at all. In the crown I placed most of the grafts on the part side and towards the front of balding crown area, which will help him when styling his hair. Here are his results 7 and 16 months post-op. The total graft count was 3,137.
