Default Did I get a bad hair transplant?

Just got due done in Turkey 11 days ago, scabs fell off a few days ago but density looks bad. Before I had no visible hair in the transplant area so tiny hairs might grow out? Just sharing since advice and support would be nice. Thanks

Hi. 11 days is very early. I am 10months post-HT and I have issues with density to my hairline now (see my thread from yesterday).
AFAIK with the transplanted hair, the root stays in the head, the transplanted hair falls off and then after time new hair grows out from that root. SO what you see now may not at all be the full hairs that will grow after. Try to be patient. Would concealer/toppik be useful to fill in the sparsity will waiting you think?

Do you have any photos immediately after the surgery or a day/2 afterwards? When the scabs fall off, hair is usually attached to them so it could look thinner than its supposed to be. Can't really determine the density after the scabs have fallen off.

I also had one In Turkey, ill be posting some results of my own soon. But in regards to your question: The loss of your transplanted hair will depend on how you behaved in the first couple of weeks. I was told the scabs need to be out by day 14 but to let them come out naturally and if they did not come out, wash them out gently. I let my head soak in the bath for about an hour before removing the scabs and whilst i had a bit of loss, generally speaking the density looked good. However now nearly 2 months on I have a fair amount of loss, in particular on one side. It's possible you took too much out too early on removing scabs but I don't think this has an effect on your regrowth. As specified above, unless you have pictures early on it's difficult to say if the density will be enough. Out of curiosity, which company did you use?

How many grafts did you get done? With who?

The time for the hair to normalize is about 6 months. If you would, please post the immediate post-ops so that the placement can be visible. The time for reserving patience is now.

Density always looks bad at 11 days. The best HT in the world looks horrible two weeks out so don't sweat it right now. Immediate post-op and some before photos would help.
