26, back on after months away. Receding hairline help?

Hey everyone, good to be back, well kinda lol. I've noticed my hairline receding and thinning and wanna get opinion on if it's a mature hairline or indeed receding. Also, what are the best products to use if so. Thanks guys!

Should mention I see what I think is lots of loose hair in the shower everyday, been like that for a long time

Might as well hop on propecia.

Yeah finasteride is the actual name of the medication, propecia is the brand name.

No not really. It seems to run the gamut and it is all anecdotal. I think reports of severe side effects are way overblown though.

You are probably going to see more change in the next couple of years. Yes, the hairline is maturing, but try to explore non-surgical solutions and monitor your progress. Observe the weaker hairs on the hairline growing slower with less pigmentation than the hair behind the hairline. You have many options to improve your hair quality.

From the pics, I honestly don't think you have too much to worry about. The receding may stop on it's own.
Like the others have said, keep an eye over it the next year or two. If you start thinning in the front middle or the crown it's time to hop on fin/minox..or accept fate.

As for sides, I'm 27 year old in pretty good overall health - no sides for me (knock knock).

                    Best of luck to you.

Receding can stop on its own?

Well technically, yes. Most dudes hairlines recede when they get older, that doesn't mean they'll suffer from MPB, though... You really need to keep an eye on the crown..

If your hairline just recedes a little and that's it, maybe you can live with it and not use any Meds... I actually don't mind my hairline, I can style my hair different ways. It's the crown that worries me most
