ARTAS FUE - Are There Any Limitations Pertaining To Graft Count Per Session?

IAHRS accepted member Gregory Turowski MD, PhD, discusses the fact that, for the right candidate, ARTAS assisted FUE surgery can yield as many grafts as other methods of FUE and in his practice he routinely performs sessions of 2500 grafts or more utilizing the robot. Dr. Turowski also touched on his belief that native hair in the recipient area is much less susceptible to transection when the ARTAS is used for recipient site creation.

Please note that not all ARTAS physicians are created equal. Dr. Turowski is one of the most experienced ARTAS users in the field and has a better understanding of both the nuances of this very demanding discipline of cosmetic surgeon as well as how to appropriately utilize the ARTAS robot to it's fullest potential for the appropriate surgical candidates.

I am glad to see we are breaking the barrier towards larger procedures. Dr Turowski has always been one of the spear points of developing larger cases with the ARTAS system
