ARTAS - Getting Past The Old Narrative To Better Serve Patients
IAHRS accepted member, and FUE pioneer Alan J. Bauman, M.D discusses the reasons why he incorporated the ARTAS robot into his already busy and successful hair transplant practice after years of being one of its biggest skeptics. The bottom line is that when it comes to FUE punches, size does matter and if you incorporate the properly sized instrumentation into a state of the art device, it only makes sense that in time more experts will recognize its value for their patients.

I was curious about the switch too. Very good question Joe, thank you for asking it. The more I learn about this technology and what you guys are saying the direction that hair transplants are taking the more it makes sense. If the punches match up to the small hand punches being used, then it probably will be the method of choice in the future. I'm still a little skeptical about the robot being used by doctors who don't know what they are doing though.
