But I mean really. If I try this stuff and don't get any side effects, isn't that better?


Why are you taking both? Should I try that also?

Unless I can find some really good reasons not to try avodart I think I will try it. I really want to see some regrowth... and I think this maximizes my chances. If I get side effects I will try finasteride or so.


The side effects are very rare. But the hair growth is not.

I really do think it is worth giving a shot.


Does anyone have any good reason for me not to take it? I am so lost.

why not just start with finasteride, give it a couple of months see if you get any side effects and then try dutasteride. IF fin works for you: worst case scenario: you will not loose any more hair. Best case: you'll have some regrowth or thickening.
Then, if it doesn't work you're left with another option: dutasteride.

The other way around does not leave any option in terms of hair benefits, only in terms of side effects.
