What's the best preventive routine?
I recently turned 30, balding does run in my family. My dad went bald in his 20s. I only have some slight thinning on the temple area and my crown feels like the hair is getting thinner but I'm not losing any that I can tell.
What could I start using to keep what I have? I've read rogaine causes shedding at first, is that true? I got 1% nizoral but wanted to post here first before I started using. Also been researching RU but wanted to check before I bought anything. Thanks!

Yes, Rogaine (minoxidil) can initially result in hair shedding. After a few weeks of treatment, this common side effect of the medicine usually goes away. Even if you notice hair shedding, it is crucial to keep taking the medication because this is an indication that it's working.
