    Reconstruction of a crown area through FUE – performed by Dr. Feriduni – 1877 FU

    Follicular Unit Transplantation performed on a 39 year old Caucasian male with:

    - Ludwig I-II
    - Donor density of 78 FU/cm2 in the temporal region and 72 FU/cm2 in the occipital region
    - Hair diameter of ~56-62 microns

    Treatment plan:

    A Follicular Unit Extraction with 1600 FU to add to density to the bridge area and to reconstruct the crown area.
    The patient also suffered from thinning in the central core but the density in this area was still too high to be treated.

    Performed procedure (July 11th, 2015):

    A Follicular Unit Extraction with 1877 FU in a single day session
    * 56 single hair FU
    * 740 double hair FU
    * 781 triple hair FU

    Extraction performed with a 0.85mm FUE punch with CIT Manual Punch Handle. No microscopic preparation of the follicular unit grafts (FUE); Parallel incisions (single, double and triple units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0.8mm – 0.9mm)

    Hi Spex, I recently contacted Dr. Feriduni regarding a crown transplant and he told me to hold off for the time being, however the lack of density in the crown is really getting me down and I am looking to get it filled in, leaving enough grafts for future transplants. Would you be able to take a look at my thread and offer some advice? Thanks

    Hey guys, Need a bit of help. I am a 29 year old male been losing hair mainly on the crown for the last 4 years or so that I have noticed. In the last couple of years I have been diffusing thinning/loss throughout. I have been on finasteride and to be honest it seemed to be the trigger for the diffuse. I am currently on
