Search for HT Dr.

Hello everyone,

I live in Boston and have finally decided to go ahead and get a HT. I emailed T&D and was told that the earliest appointment is September (I think one of them comes to Boston once every week). I know someone who just had a FUE from Dr. Leanoard and while its early days, you could hardly tell that he had a HT after 2 weeks. I havent heard much about him, but i will go and see him as well.

Now i know there are a couple of other doctors in New York, so my question was - do people who are not living in New York fly there for a consult or is there some other way to narrow it down?

I am 31 male and when T&Ds team saw my pics, they thought i needed 2500-3000 grafts. My preference is a FUE as of right now. Would love to hear how some of you went about choosing your doctor.

Thank you in advance. I have been reading a lot for the past few months and am excited to try and get moving fwd for a HT procedure hopefully by October/November.

Thank you for your response. I actually have an idea of which doctors I would like - Dr Wesley, T&D, Feller & Bernstein (Even though I have read that he is the most expensive of the lot). Do people travel to NYC and see all the doctors or do they trade emails to get more comfortable before narrowing the consultation appointments? Also, I have been able to get an idea of what everyone costs normally for FUEs except for Dr Wesley - does anyone have an idea?
