i have done hair transplant, my hair have dropped off almost 80 percent in the first 40 days, is this normal

Yes this is very normal and part of the transplant process initially for the newly transplanted hair to shed and go a rest phase for 3-4 months. You certainly have nothing to be overly concerned about at this part of the process.
