What's happening to my sides?

I noticed that I have less hair on both of my sides, specifically areas beneath my temples.

The "February" picture was taken when my hair was a bit longer (sorry about the quality).

Does anyone know what might be the cause of this? Could it be MBP related or something else (stress, depression, scratching)?

this is normal dude.... nothing to worry.... by the way wat is ur age ??? is there any baldness history in ur family??

How is this normal? And does that mean my side hairs will eventually grow back?

I'm 26, and both of my grandfather and father are bald.
