Flaking and peeling?
i've been using Minoxidil from Costco for a few weeks now. Lately my wife has been telling me that my head looks like it was sunburned in that it is peeling a bit. is that normal? i'm reluctant to keep using this if i'm going to be peeling and looking flaky.

i had the same problem. This is a side effect of the minoxidil with propylene glycol. I switched to rogaine foam, which excludes this harsh ingredient, and the problem went away. -
interesting. i have been wondering about using Rogaine instead of this Costco version. Another member said they switched from liquid and would never go back. I may do the same.
are there any other good reasons to switch?Comment

Dries instantly, doesn't weigh the hair down
some say it's absorbed into the follicles better
doesn't have flaky, itchy side effect
only down side is that is costs more, but I think it's worth it. I couldn't stand the constant scratching.Comment
