Default yet another "whats happening to me?!" thread

25, just noticed a spot on my crown. parents say i've always had a cowlick, but i've never really noticed until now, so i feel like its gotten worse. it certainly looks worse depending on lighting and such. just got a pretty short haircut two days ago, which might be the reasons why some of my hair towards my neck is hard to see.

of course, my obsessive personality has me staring at it nonstop... so i figured might as well post and get some peace of mind or a push to go see a dermatologist

    Hey man,

Im 23 and I've noticed thinning on my crown as well as on the top of my head. Hang in there! I just started on Fin the other day. No sides yet so we'll see.

Hey. I think you need to take better pictures that are focussed, as no one can really see what is going on at your crown area or your hairline.

A tiny bit better haha. I think you should get checked out by a hair surgeon/dermatologist for miniaturisation.

Are you taking pics with a smartphone? With your phone pointing at your scalp, try and tap in the middle of the screen so the camera focusses.

tried again. it seems, much like me, my camera does not want to focus on my baldness haha

Yup these are better. My advice still stands; go and see a dermatologist or hair surgeon who can look at your crown for signs of miniturisation.

Also take pics every 2/3 months in the same position/light with the same length of hair/haircut, so you can also compare.
