    playsound 18 and receding hairline

Hey there, first time posting here. Not sure If anyone will notice but here we go. I'm 18, today me and my friends decided to trim our hair and it turns out that I have a very noticeable receding hairline.. None of my friends did and It honestly felt like my confidence was shattered.. I was acting like it was all cool outside but inside I was breaking apart. Hair was always a signature quality of mine and i used to have very nice hairstyles.. But now, I feel like this is all pointless, no girl will ever date me nor will they want to hook up with me or anything.
My question is are there any proven cure for this? I don't care about the side effects, please just tell me what I can do to stop my hair to recede even further.. This is how my hairline looks now

Idk, I don't have any older pics that can clearly show my hairline, I'm not sure if I'm being too paranoid or not..

Your hair looks fine currently. If trade you hairlines anyday. Keep an eye on it over the next six months. Take pictures every month or two in the same lighting, same room, and close to same hair length. If you notice change, then you can proceed with treatment. i advise you to see a hair doc or derm, for further evaluation and diagnosis. Medicinal treatment options shouldn't be pursued without a proper diagnosis, medical evaluation, and medical advice from a medical practitioner - especially at your age. Good luck friend.

Hello 18bald and you DO NOT have hairloss.
    Your hair is very good....
You may have experienced a maturing of your hairline and thats why you decided to join this forum.
    That is understandable.
    Hang around for a while.
You can learn more about any types of hair issues here
and also know about the good and current hairloss remedies too.
NOT THAT you have hairloss issues bro,,
    you have a great hairline.

Hey there 18bald!~ first of all, Im sorry that I am responding so late.
I have been a bit busy here at home right now.
I want to say again, that you cannot ALLOW yourself to become
depressed, paranoid, stressed out or worried about your hair or anything else in your life.

Those issues WILL cause much more unnecessary problems to your hairline and eventually to your health.
It is a PROVEN fact of life that stress, depression and worry would cause serious issues to ones hair!
There is no reason to allow yourself to become like that for any reasons in your life.
Once you become much older (like me!) you WILL realize just how to keep yourself happy using good foresight and the ability to 'step back' a little bit to be objective.

    You're welcome my friend!
Wanted to say this -that I've been very honest with you.
When I first joined this form in 2010,
I was here to see if I could find ways of improving my hair loss.
Many years later, because of my acceptance of what my hair loss was like, I would come on here to try to help others.
    Especially the very young!!
I would never attack or insult anybody here.
I would never make assumptions either.
I go by commonsense and true facts of life.
Good to hear back from you, it's time for me to get to bed. Cheers my friend
