Default 19 year old male - no good

Hey all, I'm brand new to the forum and this is my very first post - so let's get into it.

I'm currently 19 years old, 20 in july, and I've been struggling with slowly losing my hair since I was maybe 15 years old. Up until about a year ago it wasn't so bad that I couldn't get away with it or at least feel comfortable.. but lately it's been really noticeable. I have always had fairly long hair (right now probably a bit past my collarbone), so shaving it off would be a pretty scary option, and I'd much rather get back to a nice full head of hair if at all possible. Another big problem I have with shaving it off is my head is pretty large (7 3/4 hat size) and my ears stick out quite a bit, so I think I'd look funny with a shaved head.

I appreciate anything anyone has to say, and I desperately need some help! I'll probably be posting pictures within the next few days if it helps at all.

    Thanks

I would go to a hair doc or dermatologist, and see if you can get a prescription for propecia, and hopefully keep what you got! Good luck man, keep us updated

I was in the same boat and sarted loosing my hair quite young too. get on propicia and it might thicken in one to two years and u will stop loosing hair. There is nothing you can really do for balding though despite what people say, transplants and things like that just lead to more problems no matter what people say just deal with it and find peace in your own skin it will save you lots of hasstle in the long run. Sure you look better then you think!!
