Rogaine taking a toll on my face

Hi fellas, I've been using Rogaine for about 10-11 months now and I look like I've aged 10 years since I started. To the point people are asking me why I look so old. I've always looked young. Even as a balding man, I looked like I was in my 20's up to about 6 months after I started using Rogaine.

Are the any alternatives to Rogaine that won't take a toll on my face?
