Dutasteride
I have been using 1,25 mg of finasteride every day for the past 8,5 months and have not seen the results I was hoping for. I have some receding in my temples, but my crown is what bothers me the most. It is not that bad, but there is thinning and since I caught it early I had hoped to re-thicken, but it does not seem to happen. I would actually say I am slightly below baseline since I had an initial shed on my crown that I never really recovered from. My family members laughed when I said I was thinning since they thought my hair looked great. 3 months after I started fin I had a haircut and for the first time ever my mother commented that I looked thinner in the crown. I stayed on course after reading that it is normal for a shed to occur, but that it will grow back. I do not use minox since I am struggling with scalp psoriasis and does not want to worsen that. Should I stick with fin and hope for late results or switch to dutasteride? I have no sides from fin.
By the way. Are there any Norwegians here with experience with importing duatstertide and the customs? My doctor was hestitant to prescribe me fin so I do not really see the point going back for dutasteride.

Dutasteride is an option once you see your response from finasteride. It may benefit you to allow the medication at least 12 months before pursuing dutasteride.

Thanks for your reply. Is it normal to see results after the 9 Month mark? I have regrowth on my hairline actually so sine it is supposed to work better on the crown I had hopes for some good results

it simply doesn't work for many and the sexual side effects make it toxic for many as well

GNX, is generic finasteride as toxic as dutasteride or, in general, are you referring to them both as toxic?
Do you recommend any certain ones? To avoid the sexual side effects that is?
