diffuse thinning - does shiny glare mean you're done for??

I have hair loss in the MPB pattern, but with diffused thinning every where. Most of my lost occurred in the last year on fin. I am now on DUT, RU and MINOX.

I took a video with the flash on, me just running my fingers through my hair. Where ever it is thinning (every where) you can see a glare on the scalp.

- I think I am f*cked

- even with some vellous regrowth, there should be no glare

Any one else have any experience with this? I am hoping I can regrow some of what I lost, but I assume the shiny scalp is a sign that these hairs are permanently lost. Weird topic, I know.

Hi Mayapple, I also had heavy diffuse loss and thinning from finasteride. Scalp inflammation has subsided but it is still there and I am yet to see any recovery. I'm stuck on what to do. Currently trying out RU.
