Minoxidil 2% for men?

Hi there, in the past I tried Minoxidil in the form of liquid and foam and during both times experienced weird heart beat side effects that felt odd. Was just wondering if i would be less likely to get these if i was to try the 2% version? I think it might be because I'm very sensitive to drugs and too much was being absorbed? also do you think the products containing no alcohol with minoxidil are better?
