minoxidil residue help

Hi guys ive been applying minoxidil for 10 days now on my hairline .

When i apply it it pull my hair back with my hand , however ive noticed a lot of white residue really far behind my hairline and mid scalp , areas where i'm not thinning .

So i'm frightened that minoxidil harm my good healthy hair behind my hairline .

How to prevent this build up ? plz help me guys .
