    Help Me

Hello everyone, I really need help, I had never done anything about my hair loss up until now that I'm using Rogaine but I don't think that is going to work, I'm 33 and my hair loss is one of the worst I guess, this is me in 2012: https://www.facebook.com/ramonjurado...880165/?type=3

I have even LESS hair now, however I still have hair all over the area, it's just minimal. I don't know what to do, I thought I could deal with this but I'd rather die to be honest, I can't believe I've turned into this person. I've seen ads for this clinic all over town and they have before and after pictures of local artists and stuff and they grew their hair back, but what exactly is the product? Can they be trusted? http://txcapilar.com.pa/nosotros/ Sorry for the website being in spanish.

What should I do? I guess my only option would be a hair transplant but given my serious case, what is the best scenario? I have no idea.

I know of two people who had the transplant in my country, I live in Panama, and one of them has ZERO hair, zero, his the worst norwood case, and the other one is a tv personality, he had it yet he always wears a hat.

    This is a nightmare.

Can't see your facebook link. Can you post some pics? Are you on meds? You should try meds or shaving your head for a year before getting a HT.
When you go outside, do you not notice all the other bald men out there who are fine w/ hair loss?

Try posting a picture directly to this post, as the link is not working.

You've just started your journey to find a solution for you, so my best advice is to be patient, do lots of research, ask lots of questions, and remain realistically optimistic. Results/treatment vary from person to person depending on a wide variety of factors - something you'll start to learn about as you begin researching. Once you post a picture here, we'll have a better idea of what you're working with - but the best advice you're going to get will be from a trusted hair transplant surgeon/specialist who will know the full ins and outs of your hair loss situation.

In general, taking Propecia is a good starting point. I would also encourage you to look outside of your local vicinity when looking for a surgeon. If you do end up being a good candidate for a hair transplant and decide to get one, you want to make the decision that's best for you by choosing a top, trusted surgeon - regardless of location.

Ultimately, don't be discouraged. No matter what happens, your life isn't over. I know how devastating it can be to deal with hair loss and not have a clue of what, if anything, can be done about it - but being discouraged isn't going to make your life any easier. So keep your head up.

Post a picture when you have time and hopefully people here can start pointing you in the right direction.

I am a patient advocate for Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles, CA. My opinions/comments are my own and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Dr. Mohebi and his staff.

Honestly I rarely see bald men anywhere and I'm the only bald person I know.

Thank you, this is a screengrab of the video:

I have far less hair now, I still have hair over all the area but if I pose for a snapshot with friends it barely registers, I horrify myself if I see a reflection somewhere else or on security videos because I appear completely bald. It is horrifying, I seriously want to die, I can't imagine looking like this forever. I'm not a vain person and I certainly was no looker before but this is a nightmare, it truly is.

I started using rogaine, I don't think it will help. I really don't want to dabble into the pills, I think it's too much of a risk with the side effects. I have researched the transplants but almost none of them online are cases of people with zero hair and the very few I have found are terrible.

I also keep reading about third and four sessions, I don't think I have the money for that. Plus I would have to go abroad, I don't know if the doctors here are reliable in any way. Do you know what kind of treatment it is regarding the link I provided?? The spokespeople have regained all their hair but I have no idea what's the catch. I feel so destroyed.
