what is the official stance on cox inhibitors and their affect on hairloss?
can someone explain this to me in detail please, it would be much appreciated

Not in detail, but a quick thought:
If cox inhibitors would work in any significant way, people would have realized by now. People with a history of heart attack (a LOT of plus 50 old men) are on a constant dose of aspirin for the rest of their lives. Asprin is a cox-1 and cox-2 inhibitor.
Also you wouldn´t want to mess with cox inhibitors, because cox-1 inhibitors cause ulcers (and if you combine them with pantoprazol etc. you will get the side effects of pantoprazol) and pure cox-2 inhibitors are associated with a higher risk of heart attacks and strokes (although it is debated).
