You may have been delaying the mid-scalp hair loss for almost 17 months. Add some minoxidil and see where it takes it after 6 to 9 months. What manufacturer produces your finasteride, and where are you getting your supply?

This is never discussed but I'll say it, the more aggressive the hair loss the less effective medical therapy is, finasteride only blocks 60-70% DHT, in men who are not as sensitive to DHT this may halt hairloss completely, but in men who are very sensitive to DHT the other 30-40% of DHT will still attack the follicle.
This is why many men destined for Norwood 6 or 7 still go bald even while they're on fin and minoxidil. If your hairloss is aggressive medical therapy may slow it down, but you'll still go bald eventually. I think medical therapy works best on men with minor hairloss who are not as sensitive to DHT, if you're experiencing hair loss at 22 chances are you're sensitive to DHT. Many times men mistake the medication as not working when in fact it does work just not as well because of the aggressiveness of their hair loss.

Yep. I felt the same while on Fin. Bigger lifts in the gym, more energy/higher libido - but that also came with oily, burning/itching scalp and accelerated hairloss.
