The overall consensus on this site seems to be that if you are under 30, you should not consider an HT. Have you ever seen a situation where this was not the case?
Have you ever seen someone in their 20s that was an appropriate HT candidate?

I do not think there is a hard and fast line in the sand, but I think that younger males may have too much active loss to undergo HT, and also may not have had time to adjust to MPB. I can tell you that when I was in my 20's I was practically in a blind panic over my hair loss, but by my 30s and 40's, while I still hated it, I calmed down a ton and could think much more clearly and objectively about it. In my 20's I think I would have been hard pressed to make a clear headed decision about HT surgery.
