If you do it twice a day, you'll probably hit every part once, and then you're OK considering it has a 22 hour half life. But once a day, if/when you miss a spot it is not helpful. Ya... anyway I strongly advise trying it only at night. I know what you mean about how annoying it is to deal with in the morning, once and I was done. At night its great... I spend 2-3 minutes applying it and forget about it. The next morning I wash it out, or not, it doesnt matter because its very dry at that point and undetectable. Easiest thing in the world.
