Another fin sides topic, please help though

    Hey there!

So I'm 23 and I've been on fin for about 2 years now with minoxidil. I've been suffering from major depression and anxiety ever since I first realised my hairloss and to be honest I'm hoping that's a big factor to my sides. So I've been suffering from sexual problems for a while now, it's a loss in libido and the reduction of feeling when I cum. I don't have a problem getting it up or anything like. I've been single this entire time so it hasn't really worried me alot but I've started seeing this girl and I'm worried it's going to really burden me now. I'm contemplating dropping it because I'd rather feel good cumming on a daily basis without hair then continue being underwhelmed when I orgasm. Weird thing is I decided to masturbate the other night and had the best orgasm I've had in ages. You know the dick pulsating and you feel that wave of amazing sensation. Which makes me wondering if it's a psychological problem for me and not that fin is ****ing me over. Only problem is tonight when I masturbated it was back to my underwhelming normal but I wasn't in the same frame of mind as I was the other night. That confuses me though. Plus to confuse my body more so I've dropped my antidepressants/ocd medication Clomipramine because I don't want to be on it anymore. I'm only 23, I shouldn't be on this sort of crap at this young age.

Now the next thing is that I'm absolutely shit scared of the thought that these sides are solely due to fin and are irreversible. When I started fin my dermo told me I'd probably never have this problem and in the rare chance I do have sexual sides they'd go away if I stop. But from what I've been reading lately there's people out there who never recover from the sexual sides. I don't want to be like an old man sexually at this age.

If anyone has any input on this I'd really appreciate it. I'm probably going to go see a dermatologist to talk about this but I'd like to hear from other people taking this medication as well. Feel free to ask me any questions to enlighten you to further help me out as best as you can.

This sounds more mental than anything... try dropping it for a month and see how you react. If it is fin, consider RU58841 and higher strength minox

      Hey there,

I think it's always a good idea to discuss these things with your GP/dermatologist any way.

It really sounds to me like your anxiety and depression could be the main cause of these issues. I'm pretty sure depression and being on antidepressants/getting off them has a serious effect on your libido.

Orgasms always varied for me even without depression or being on medicine. Sometimes you're really in the mood, and sometimes you're not but you do it anyway and it's not as great. For me generally the longer the amount of time in between orgasms the better they are.

Don't take it from random internet strangers though, obviously this is really bothering you, it would be best if you see a physician about this!

      Best wishes!
