Thickening up hairline on Fin
Is it common for Finasteride to take a NW2A hairline, and make it a NW2? Not lower it at all, just make the existing hair more thick?

Not common to see significant hairline thickening.
Rogaine plus propecia will up your odds though.

Unfortunately, finasteride won't typically restore the actual hairline. You should take finasteride to slow down the process of hair loss.
Typically, in the vertex, this drug improves or maintains the quality and volume of your hair.

3.5 years on fin. Thickened up my grown after I started seeing thinning there and I began taking fin. Severely slowed down my frontal thinning but I'm surely thinner now than I was 3.5 years ago up front. still, I'm a NW2 in "shape" but thinned out to the point now that I'd be a NW3 if I buzzed my hair, maybe approaching a NW4 in a few years time
No doubt I'd be a NW5 or worse without fin. The best part of the drug is it gave me some years of having hair when I was mentally fragile. Now that I'm getting older (almost 27) I don't really give a shit
