Greetings,
Here is a patient of mine who received 3363 grafts via FUT to the frontal scalp, mid scalp, and crown. About 2/3 of the grafts were placed in the frontal and mid scalp and about 1/3 in the crown (despite the fact that the balding surface area in the crown was much greater than in the front). The patient has coarse wavy hair which definitely helps his cosmetic density. The crown saw improvement, but because of the wide space to fill in the crown (the patient also has a very large head) we will be performing a follow up procedure to add density there in the near future. The patient himself is a physician and this was his first hair transplant. He is thrilled with his results and looking forward to his follow up procedure.
