Default i can't take propecia, are hair transplants an option for me?

    Hello everyone,
I am 33 and have had thinning hair since I was about 19-20. I have been on propecia in the past, but everytime I have taken it my liver enzymes increase. At this point I am only on 5% minoxodil. I think that my hair loss has been relatively stable, but still slowly progressing since I have been off the propecia(about 3-4 years ago).
I am really considering transplants at this point, but I am worried that my hair loss will continue and my native hair will recede past the grafts, making my hair look unnatural...which is worse than thin hair in my opinion.
Anyway, I wish I could take propecia, but my liver does not seem to metabolize it very well.
Are hair transplants still an option?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

If you have a goood supply of donor hair and you proceed conservatively you may be a candidate for hair transplantation. A good hair restoration physicians should consider that the patient will most likely have additional hair loss with aging and create a plan that will allow the patient to still maintain a natural look.
