Default Hair follicle miniaturization due to loss of contact with Arrector Pili Muscle

In AA hair loss can be 100% reversible while MPB is not reversible. In AA the hair follicles stay attached to the Arrector Pili muscle where contact is lost in MPB.

Maybe the cure is just figuring out how to make this connection again?
