Default Is it too late for me now? Pics

Started minoxidil about 10 months ago... Seen very slight regrowth but continued losing in other areas.

Hopped on finasteride 1mg a day 2.5 months ago, very little sides and hair quality seems noticeably better and I see minor hair growth around hairline.

I recently examined my hair throughly and noticed I've lost more than I thought, with some diffusing. Can finasteride thick this or is the diffusion too advanced?

    Thanks

This last pic is after a haircut. Was 6 months ago. Hair is much longer here. Above pics are 1 month after a buzz.

You have TONS of hair man! Relax, it's definitely not too late. Your thinnest area is the crown, an area that responds best to treatments.

My hairline is pretty receded too. I'm lucky I had a natural very small forehead so it doesn't look as bad. My crown hasn't gone much better on rogaine. But Propecia probably hasn't had its chance yet only 2.5mons in.

My main concern is just behind my hairline on the left side is thin. It has hairs, just thinner ones. Really hoping Propecia can revive those and I can avoid an FUE.

    Thanks for the input James.

James do you think dermatch is a good option behind hairline and on crown for my loss?

BaldingEagle - you still have lots of hair man! I wish I had your hair, really!

If I was you, I would definitely continue with Minoxidil and Propecia.

As far as the concealers .. I've tried DermMatch, Caboki and Topik. DermMatch is a good concealer and stays on the hair the longest but made my hair very dry, so I wouldn't recommend it that much.

Topik was great too, but stayed on the hair only a day or so.

Caboki stays on my hair for 2 or 3 days and even after I wash my hair some of it still stays on the hair. I put just a small amount of it on the crown/vertex area and then comb it onto the front part of the hair. Then repeat till i get a satisfying result.

Does dyeing hair to color the weaker hairs improve thickness?
