Thinning Crown? Or Cowlick?

Hey everyone I'm new to this thread, I am 20 years old and I have hair loss at the temples. It sucks lol, and was taking propecia for 2 weeks but ran out of money so going to have to wait until after christmas until I get more, would coming off them after two weeks have thinned my crown out? I'm just slightly paranoid that it is balding or a natural cowlick, let me know please guys, I have attached pics of my frontal recession as well as my crown.
