Question about the rate of loss

I just have a question about the NW scale.
If it takes around 4-5 years to go from NW1 to NW2 then can you say it will take 4-5 to reach NW3 and so on?

Impossible question friend. Everyone is different and there are a million factors involved. Hairloss can acclerate at anytime. The joys of it all.

I went from NW1 to diffused NW3 in about 8 months! The above is correct, it is rarely a linear progression. Some people bald slowly, some very slowly, developing into NW3-4 in their 50's and 60's... Some people start at age 16 and are NW5 by age 20. Other's, like myself, have a relatively slower progression of balding, but it's sped up through physical stress and trauma...

My journey from NW1 to NW5 took over two decades, no kidding! I VERY quickly went from NW1 to a NW3-4 (over about 3 years-super, super upsetting) and then proceeded to have more gradual loss thereafter. I had some periods of mild regrowth but mostly meds just slowed my rate of loss. Definitely had periods of faster and slower loss.
