Yeah, the scarring is definitely an issue. Hopefully there's a solution to it. I'd guess that the thing to do would be to try out a long term strategy, starting out with only a few grafts placed initially to get an idea of scarring, asking the patient if he would like to continue and then increasing the amount of grafts placed each yearly session. Even with scarring there should be ways around it, perhaps the patient has enough body and beard hair to place in the donor area to mask the white dots, if not there are waterproof makeup concealers that could cover it. Is anyone aware of such an ambitious transplant occurring? It'd be interesting to see the results.
