Plz help.. Am I going bald?
Hello sir, (Please excuse me if my English is bad.. it is not my native/I'm from India).
Coming back to the topic, I just turned 20 and I used to have a big forehead from my childhood but nowadays few of my friends are telling me that Im going bald soon..
I can tell you that there is absolutely no one in my family who is bald. Everyone in my family (both fathers and mothers) have good hair. My father has a little big forehead but he is not bald at all.. he has good amount of hair on top, back, side and everywhere.. just a little big forehead..
My younger brother, who is just 1 year younger than me also has nice hair.. he don't have forehead at all.
I have attached my photos with this post.. am I going bald?? Pls help me..
Thank You..

Hello NVR!
You came to the right place, Spencer Kobren's BTT forum!
I am always especially concerned for the young guys out here and I try my best to
give you all significant commonsense and OBJECTIVE advice.
There are others on this forum that do the same bro so hang around for a while.!!
Always remember that you are only 20 years old right now.
Do NOT ALLOW any stress or over-emotions to affect you.
Stress WILL cause issues with your hair and eventually to your health.
The good thing is that, because you are only 20 years old, there WILL be
much better hairloss treatments in your future (maybe eventually a cure-but who really knows)!!
For the time being, STAY happy and HEALTHY.
Now to your photos...
NVR , you might only be experiencing a maturing of your hairline.
That is possible so for the time being eat healthy, get yourself the multivitamin, Biotin.
Biotin DOES help to promote healthier hair overall for most everyone, men and women alike.
If you can also get Minoxidil for your hairline then do it.
Minoxidil (brand name-'Propecia') has a long and proven history in helping male pattern hairloss.
But once again, you might NOT get significant hairloss, just a maturing of your hair.
(i wish my hair looked like yours NVR-!)
The important thing to know and to realize is that if you start to become paranoid, stressed-out and worried about your hair, or anything else in life, you will experience hairloss!
Your hair looks OK...Im sure that people around you dont really notice a change in your hair right now.
One more thing NVR , your English is very GOOD ! No worries on that either-lol.
Cant wait to hear back from you bro...Cheers!!

I apologize for not responding sooner NVR.
I don't know of any shampoos or conditioners that would cause hair loss.
I would imagine if that was to happen hypothetically, that company would go out of business.
I've never heard that masturbation would ever have an effect on your hairline.
I highly doubt that !!
No worries on those two topics bro.
Are you still staying positive? I certainly hope so my Young friend!

Hello NVR,,Hello everyone,,
A few days ago, on Monday the 7th, I had realized a mistake that I made here on 12/6/15.
Here is what I mistakenly mentioned to you NVR and all else....
"If you can also get Minoxidil for your hairline then do it.
Minoxidil (brand name-'Propecia') has a long and proven history in
helping male pattern hairloss"
I mistakenly used the brand name 'Propecia' for Minoxidil when in fact the brand name for
Minoxidil I meant to say is 'ROGAINE'
I apologize to everyone for my wordage mistake.
Apparently that day, I was so very busy.
Normally- I would have reviewed my words before posting.
Im sure that most members here realized that I posted the wrong brand name but there may be a % of others that didn't know.

To respond to your last posting NVR...you asked~
"...what are the main reasons for receding of hairline/hair fall.."
NVR receding hair at your age and throughout the 20s usually is just a maturing hairline and it is a natural part of the aging process that occurs in most men.
To lead a GOOD and HAPPY/HEALTHY LIFE, acceptance is so very IMPORTANT for you
and of course, everyone else.
