Gym supplements and shedding
Hi all,
I've been shedding solidly for the last 2 months, which is odd as I haven't made any changes to my hairloss regime. I initially thought it might be a seasonal shed (if they exist), however this has persisted for too long. The only thing I can attribute it to is the fact that I've started hitting the gym 3-5 times a week, taking the following supplements:
Whey protein
Casein protein
BCAAs
Carnitine
Glutamine
Betaine
Beta-alanine
Are any of these known to encourage hairloss?

Hitting the gym itself could potentially raise test in the body and therefore DHT thus causing more hair fall. It's a bastard, trust me, I lift and it's like hairloss is trying to rob me of everything I love.

I went through the same thing. I stopped taking the supplements & I stopped shedding. I started eating boiled eggs to get my protein.
