Is there a way of making SMP feel real as well as look real ?

Some of the results I've seen online look amazing but I can't help wondering that it would be so much better if it felt as real as it looked ?? I mean a stubble effect when you touch your scalp with your hand. This would be amazing wouldn't it ??
