Default Has my hairline gotten a lot worse since 2000? (Pictures)

Completely pulled back my hair in the 2015 pictures so you can get an idea. In the 2000 one, some hair is covering my hairline so that might skew your perception a bit. But you can still see how my hair "sparses out" near the temples, and that M-shape. I've had that all my life.

Based on the small and blurry images, I'd say no. It looks to be fairly stable, not "a lot" worse if any worse at all.

I'll probably opt for a hair transplant sometime before the New Year. This is a congenital issue and it hasn't worsened as far as I know, nor do I have any fear that it will if I base myself on family history (from both sides).

At which stage on the NW scale would you place me?

I don't think you do. A NW2 has a lower hairline height and a NW3 has more recession in the temples. If you are close to any NW level it may be a NW2A.

Thanks for the replies. Of course, people's expectations vary, but based on your understanding of what "normalize" means... how many grafts do you estimate would be required to "normalize" my hairline? Perhaps these pictures aren't enough to gage the density of the hair, but I can tell you it's on the dense side.
