How to know of miniaturized hair?

I am 24 years old and lately have started to worry about my hair as my father is bald. i have good head of hair (NW1) but i want to know if i have miniaturized hair or not. While shampooing, i see that out of 20 odd hairs, 2-3 hairs are thinner. I don't know if this is normal or miniaturization? Please share your thoughts.
