24y, old balding. Optimal way to cut losses?

    Hey

As the title says im 24y old with Norwood Hair Loss Type 2 aboutish.

It started when I was 17-18 little by little my hair lines going worse. Im pretty sure its male pattern baldness since my brother and dad has the same..

Im just thinking what is the best way for me to lose as slowly as possible. It havent gotten that much worse but still its going worse little by little. I havent done anything about it.
I read that the cheapest and safest option for me is Minoxidil (Rogaine) 2%.

    Thoughts?

    Well you have two options.

    1. Get on propecia and Rogaine (5%, not 2) and HOPE that your hairloss will stop/slow down.

    2. Wait till you're 30 or 35 and a NW4 or 5 and then regret why you didn't start with propecia/rogaine sooner.

You can try Minoxidil, but take 5% instead of 2%. It would be quite safe but keep in mind that it does not work with everyone. If you want to really keep your hair you need to think about taking Finasteride as well. It can have some side effects but if you have not much of a chance if you want to keep that hair. Finasteride works for a large majority of guys so you will have more chances with it than just with Minoxidil.
