Greetings & My HT Experiences

Hi everyone! I will keep this brief, I am new to this forum but not new to hair transplants. Started losing hair in my mid twenties, wore ball caps for about 15 years till I had my first HT in Calgary about 15 years ago. $ was a big factor so I could only do about 1000 to 1500 grafts/micro I did three different surgeries over a period of about 5 years. I've been very happy with results and costs etc. I lost quite a lot of hair last couple years in back crown area, so since my wife & I were going to vacation in Costa Rica last spring I had another surgery there. They were very excellent also but they said that I didn't have enough elasticity in the donor area to take enough of a strip to completely take care of balded area. They did about 900 micro grafts. Now my hair is looking good again but I am excited because of the new ARTAS machines that don't need to take a strip and I can have grafts harvested from other areas! Thankfully I have tons of good donor hair on sides and in back left. Anybody here done both methods? Of course I won't be doing another transplant in the near future but I would like to fill in some areas in a couple years....
