I love how people are getting angry about a patent filing being a BS story, as if Christiano came here and was bragging about the news.

Sorry, but that's how science works folks. I'm as eager for new treatments as everyone else, but no one is forcing you to post mice studies here.

Well, I found her email and asked a couple questions regarding these drugs and why its not been used on people yet for MPB?

It was used on people for vitiligo and areata, so why not MPB, right?

We will see if I get any reply back or if its just silence...

JAK inhibitors are immuno-suppresents with horrible side effects. Look up the side effects of Ruxolitinib. That goes systemic and you'll wish you only had Fin side effects.

I mean this is almost the same situation as with the battery industry..I have been reading press releases about amazing new battery technologies since the late 90's and it's 2015 and all of that breakthrough crap never materialized.

I think we should mail bomb every goddamn researcher who shamelessly hypes his/her lousy research paper that centers around inducing hairgrowth on mice with pharmaceutical means with the implication to MPB, AA and other hair related human ailments.

I mean fine great, do you research but stop hyping it so much and stop making any connections between human and mice hair! It's simply is unethical!!!

Wanna know when Cristiano has a cure in her hands?... when her wig will dissapear!

Wah, wah, wah, me cry like big baby over hair loss. Me be rude to scientist who tries to cure my hair loss because I am a big crybaby. Wah, wah, wah.
