    is bosley a scam?

I have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder like body dysmorphia disorder. I find things to obsess about and let them ruin my life. Currently, it's my hair. I am 23 and I think it is thinning but everyone else tells me i am crazy. i have no recession but i feel like my hair is just thinner from what it was. maybe it's all in my head but I talked to FOUR dermatologists and a hair restoration specialist. all of which said i currently have nothing to worry about. I went to a bosley specialist today who suggested I get on rogaine or propecia because he notices hairloss and that I should act quickly to keep my hair. he seemed very salesy. Is that common? i was visbily upset so do you think he played off that to get me to buy their products (meds/laser helmet).

he told strange things like it's not common for men to thin as they age, it's not normal to split your hair apart and see a part, etc...you guys think he was full of shit? Any expereicne with this kind of thing? thanks!!!!

If you have body dysmorphic disorder, then Bosley is the LAST place you want to go to for advice... They will try to feed on you like the parasites they are. They are not recommended on any of these reputable forums because they are the mcdonalds of hair transplants. I know personally, as I was disfigured by them. PLEASE, never EVER return to Bosley EVER AGAIN. If you feel your hair is thinning, consult a reputable dermatologist and post pictures on here. Finasteride MAY be an option if you are experiencing androgenic alopecia, as well as minoxidil. If you must consult a hair transplant surgeon, then please visit one that is a member of the IAHRS and recommended on these sites.

I've never had anything to do with hair transplants but I have seen that name 'Bosley' connected to stories of butchery more times than I can remember. I'll never trust them.

            Bosley biggest scam ever

This is exactly what Bosley does and I have had the procedure. They cut a swath of your scalp out across the back of your head to get all the hairs. This of course will give you excruciating pain for a few days and you will not be able to even sleep. Get good pain medication. They then poke little holes into your balding area and simply stick the hairs into the holes. Most people probably think the hair then roots into your scalp the way a plant does into the soil. Im sorry but they don't. They simply fall out of your head over the next month and your hair will look exactly like it did before. Literally. It is the biggest scam and there is and its amazing that this company has stayed in business for as long as they have. I am convinced all their pictures are fake and were doctored to look like they actually get results. I also believe where as there are plenty of complaints online and plenty of people warning others about Bosley that there would be thousands more if men were not totally embarrassed about their results. Im sure most guys simply move on with their life because they are angry and frustrated and above all else embarrassed at being scammed. Bosley is one big lie.
