Histogen in the hair congress
Hopefully this means Histogen is not dead and they are actually in business and just had been quiet but working
here is the link
http://www.histogen.com/aboutus/news.htm#event1
We need to get someone to this congress, it looks like a lot of good information will be share!

Efedrez, that's an excellent info! I didn't see them at this stem cell meeting in Mesa, where they were last year, so I was sure that Histogen won't be present at the hair congress. They have already finished phase 2, right? So if they have new partner and better financial situation, their commercialisation in Japan may be closer than we think.

This is a good news man ! Looks like they are going to say "guys we got the cure, congrats ! We have been silent so no one can give us an evil eye and miss up our product". or they want to say "ladies and gentlemen, sorry we could not make it "

@baldybald: lol, if second option was the real one, they wouldn't go to the congress to announce their failure in public ;P

I also doubt they will go to such a public congress to announce failure.
Researcher typically have to spend money to present in this events so maybe I'm being too optimistic but there is no reason to go there unless you have something interesting to say (even if its is "we are still alive")

Hahaha I know I was sarcastic. Come on guys )

ok ok fine .
I hope there was a way to find out what histogen and others will say without having to wait a long time and read it from some reporter with little knowledge on the topic
After 2 threads for founding Desmond or Hellouser were closed I don't know what else we can do to get someone there

There's a relatively recent presentation by Histogen (some woman, can't remember her name) which shows pictures of someone with significant regrowth from a previously ruined hairline. Based on that I don't know why people have been saying it's dead all these months. That picture was as impressive as anything I've seen, if I'm remembering it right (it has been months if not a full year since I saw it).

@allTheGoodNamesAreTaken: that's interesting, could you post a link?
Histogen technology is promissing, but the main problem with it is that the new hair are also susceptible to the miniaturization. If Replicel protocol is really able to hold the progression of hair loss, in theory it would be ideal pair with Histogen.
